UTS Consulting Club

The Consulting Club is the home of professional development at UTS. We’re a society geared around helping our members sharpen their problem solving skills, build their confidence, and gain a competitive edge in the job market.

From working with real clients, to receiving mentorship from leading Australian consulting firms, the UTS Consulting Club provides the best opportunities for members’ personal and professional growth.

What does UTSCC do?

Pro-Bono Consulting Program

The 12-week program pairs UTS students with small businesses, local start-ups, and not-for-profits to respond to real-world client briefs. It’s a unique way to meet new students from diverse degrees and disciplines, and to learn about the consulting industry.

Global and Domestic Case Competitions

Case competitions provide student teams the opportunity to respond to a real-world business problem in a set time. The students then pitch their solutions to a panel of industry judges, where they are ranked against other university teams.

Professional Development Workshops

The hands-on developmental workshops further members’ professional skills and consulting knowledge. Our industry sponsors often participate as well, sharing insight from their own consulting experiences and providing direction.

Industry Panels and Networking Events

The panels and events allow members to talk to UTSCC alumni and industry representatives, and ask them questions about their consulting careers. They provide opportunities to form new connections and learn relevant skills.
