Financial Validation Workshop

On Wednesday 20th of April, our consultants participated in our first ever Financial Validation Workshop! Led by Engagement Manager Will Crellin, teams were introduced to the essential financial concepts that will play a pivotal role in the delivery of their solutions. 

The workshop began with a breakdown of key financial terms including the accounting equation, highlighting their relevance in the day-to-day activities of a Management Consultant.  

Up next was an overview of Cash Flow Forecasting. Consultants were asked to brainstorm about how to ensure all costs can be captured, alongside providing accurate forecasts and estimates with little data available. From here, consultants were presented with a 4 Step Consideration for planning a cash forecast, alongside methods for alleviating issues. 

Finally, a deep dive into Assumptions and Proxies enabled our consultants to confidently make accurate analysis of their clients financials and present accurate, informative information as part of their solution.
