Consultant Workshop Three: Pitching and Delivery

On Wednesday our consultants experienced a Pitching and Presentation Workshop, learning essential skills to be used in their upcoming practice pitches and ultimately the Consultant Cup at the end of the semester.

Led by Paul Taylor, Managing Director of Catalyst6 Consulting, the consultants were taken through what makes a good pitch, how to create effective slide designs as well as the importance of knowing and empathising with your audience.

Additionally, students were taught the differences between regular pitches and consulting pitches, including how to use key techniques such as the Diamond Model and the importance of utilising hooks.

We would like to thank Paul Taylor for his valuable lessons stemming from over 20 years of consulting experience - they will surely come into good use as our consultants continue through the program!
